Time to get some Exercise! Yawn. That was good, but it will take more than a yawn to get that heart rate up!

Exercise. Ouch! Even the sound of the word causes a need to take a nap! It sounds like work! Who in their right mind wants to work after being at work? The word exercise sounds tired, with an x.

Since the word is such a drag, maybe a better word, or words, will work out better! There it is, work out, that sounds purposeful and easy!

Easy home workouts for Beginners

If using sitting still as a bench mark, then almost any movement could be considered a workout. Hold that yawn. The movement needs a little more oomph, than the meager yawn.

This is interesting. That’s the spirit! It really isn’t an arduous requirement, so why not get up and try to enjoy it? It’s also possible to read while standing. Pacing the room will help create a little focus while reading.

If it takes three minutes to read this, and the pacing lasted the whole time, congratulations, good workout!

It’s as simple as moving. Anywhere, for a few minutes. Then chill again. Maybe later the same day, move again for a few minutes, however, this time, move a different way.

Easy Home Workouts for Beginners

This type of working out is much like housework. Got a ton of dirty dishes? Skip the dishwasher and opt for the elbow grease approach. Wash and rinse for bonus credit! Air dry for the recovery! Workout and chores done, efficiency in motion!

Have floors that need vacuuming? Give the vacuum robot the day off and get the work done, human style.

This same philosophy can be applied to the car! Firstly, skip that cool drive through car wash. Secondly, grab a bucket and a hose, and use some elbow grease to scrub that car clean. A workout that saves money and completes a chore is golden!

Almost any activity could be thought of as exercise. Especially if it gets the heart pumping a little bit more than sitting still.

As always it is a great idea to consult the doc before starting any workout routine! Chances are good for a thumbs up on those dishes, though! Have a good workout!
