In plain sight then it’s a trick of the light
Have you ever seen a ghost? It almost sounds like a contradiction in terms. Ghosts are invisible. Or so the stories say. In fact, there are videos of ghosts. Except the videos show something the ghost is doing, not the actual ghost. That is strange because unexplained activity still has a cause. Even if it’s invisible.
Most ghost stories are dramatic. Chilling in some cases. Sometimes they are so compelling they warrant an investigation. The interesting thing about the investigation is no ghost is ever seen. Things the ghost does or sounds it makes are filmed, but no ghost is seen. There are tales about the ghost. Which makes the investigation more interesting. However, only shades are ever seen and occasionally a quick glimpse of a form, but no real mug shot happens.
Why is that? Why would a ghost make a noise, or move a chair, and remain invisible? Is the cause of the event always out of sight? Is it really a ghost, or something else? Of course, it is easy to fake video. And in some cases the fake is obvious. However, there are real events, and real paranormal investigations. Furthermore, there is ample evidence, of real haunted places.
In Plain Sight
With this in mind, is it just a generalization? The whole ghost thing? Haunted activity, or unexplained activity is always blamed on a ghost. But what if it isn’t a ghost? Or more accurately, what if it is still a mystery? For example, there is haunted activity. And there is no apparent cause. Yet the activity is persistent. In fact, it becomes persistent enough to cause stories. Or for legends to form.

Furthermore, in all the years of video and actual evidence, there is still only enough information to guess at things. Which creates the question of what a ghost actually is. Not if they exist. Something exists in the places we cannot see. Something out of phase. Or perhaps it is another plane of existence which is thin in places. The thin spots are where the activity forms. Or merges with our own.
There are many of these speculations. And there are many theories. Yet there is still very little in the way of explanation or discovery. Some haunted places are also dangerous. They have shown themselves to be hostile to humans. This is more of that activity that has no apparent cause. Furthermore, there are even more unknown dangerous places. Of course that is speculation, however there is strong circumstantial evidence. Evidence that there is still much we do not understand.
A Trick of the Light
If it’s not a trick of the light, then what on earth makes all the activity? Is it even earth that we are dealing with when we experience paranormal activity? Maybe it is another dimension, or another time line, all together. Yet the dimension is in plain sight. Perhaps that is why we can’t see the ghost. If it is a ghost in the way we think about what a ghost is. Yet there is still a possibility that there is no such thing as a ghost.
That thought is a little frightening. What could be more mysterious than a ghost? Furthermore, what has the ability to be active enough to influence an environment, but remain invisible? Have we already found things but they remain on a need to know basis? That sounds more like a possibility. Or a philosophy. But a ghost? It feels like we need Scooby Doo and Shaggy on this one.
And it feels like there is an enormous amount of discovery still ahead. We know there is something, but we still don’t know what. There is speculation and conjecture, but no real evidence. It’s that video with a ghost hiding invisibly in plain sight, that teases and leads us on. We still have so much to learn. Thanks for reading today.
