Not for the first time it was about time

It’s about time. But most everything is about time. Whether it’s time to walk the dog, or time to go to bed. In one way, or another, everything connects to time. In fact, time is so well connected, its presence is hardly noticed. Until it runs out. Then being out of time is hard to miss.

Some might say that is only adding context. Maybe it could also be said that time is relative. However, that isn’t relative to the direction of this article. Furthermore, someone already said time is relative. Maybe that is true now, but it wasn’t as true back then. And that is way, way, back then. Further back than the middle ages.

And then, even further back than that. In order to find a place with no time we need the place where time began. And that is a matter of belief. To a degree. For example, those who believe the world and its inhabitants, are a result of creation. In fact, that is where this article will be rooted. In the belief of a Grand Design.

Not For The First Time

The go to Source for much of the story of creation is the Bible. Furthermore, it is a very accurate history Book. In terms of geology its accuracy is astounding. Even centuries later, the Bible is an authoritative source for historical truth and knowledge.

With this in mind, it’s important to observe the entire story of creation. Every part of the story includes details, like the Garden of Eden. It’s fascinating to think of the Garden of Eden. Particularly after Adam and Eve were in the Garden together. Everyone knows the story. There was only one rule. Breaking the rule, meant disobedience to the Lord. And certain death.

When reading the story, it is clear that there was no such thing as death. Before everything happened. In fact, there is no description of how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden before the temptation. Just like there is no solid description of how long Adam was without Eve. There is no description of the actual hours and days, or even decades and centuries, that passed before Eve.

It Wasn’t About Time

The theory? Time is a human perception. Even the first time. In the opinion of this article, time is for humans. And observed by humans. It matters to humans because we can run out of time. However, that isn’t how it began. Therefore, it’s possible to postulate that time hasn’t always been. Moreover, if humans didn’t monitor time, would it matter to the cosmos?

Possibly not. Therefore, it can be said, that time is also a part of observation. For a human. This is from the human perspective. Once upon a time, even if only for a short amount of time, humans didn’t worry about time at all. There was no death. Therefore there was no deadline. And by extension, no need to monitor time.

And for now, time is up on this article. This is only the beginning. However, if there wasn’t time to measure it by, it would just be. Additionally this will be an ongoing subject in the categories area of this site. For the time being. Thanks for reading today.
