The shareable craft

Breakfast is good. It’s even better first thing in the morning! This is the consensus as we begin our work in the mines. It’s possible to enjoy breakfast, and work in the mines, at the same time. We actually do it all the time!

While it is true that this morning’s breakfast was a little better than usual, it was still a good morning for work in the mines. While we ate. Having breakfast with the little one is an adventure, even without the mines. It is also true that the mines are a video game.

However this is not merely a game. Similarly, this morning’s breakfast, wasn’t just breakfast. There were bonus items and they were an instant hit! It made the work in the mines all the more fun!

The Craft

Minecraft is our game, and for those not in the know, it is the epitome of creativity. It is possible to create almost anything the imagination can dream up, in the minecraft universe. It is also an older game, that appeals to the newer little ones.

My little one loves eggs. They are best, first thing in the morning, with sausage or bacon. Or sausage and bacon. There is also cereal. Sometimes hot, sometimes cold. On the really good breakfast mornings we also have biscuits.

It takes a lot of energy to be in the mines, first thing in the morning. Not only are we creating a world, but also a roller coaster to travel that world. There are also puzzles to solve, and hurdles to get over, but it helps to have a world where the laws of physics can be set aside.

This morning we had sausage on the side. The eggs were sensational, as always, and there was extra sausage for the hungry ones! We were hungry. And we also took a minute and shared our food when someone ran out of eggs.

Talk about sweet! I was ready to make more, but it was preferable for the little miner to share his own. That way we could keep working in the mines. That roller coaster was not going to build itself!

We got a second helping of our breakfast and got back to work. It really came together nicely, and it was good that it could be a shareable craft. It seems that sharing is an excellent way to start the day!
