Tim watches the road as they make their way to a local breakfast cafe. It was already late morning and he was feeling famished, so he knew Buddy must be as well. Furthermore they had come a long way this morning. Tim felt certain something had changed but was unable to say what.

After finding a spot close to the restaurant, Tim parks the car. One thing he could count on was Buddy’s love of all things breakfast related!

“Ready to eat breakfast Buddy?” Tim unbuckles and glances at Julie. She smiles slightly and opens her door. Buddy is done with the screen and his show. This is the best time for a breakfast interlude.

Revelations

As they make their way into the restaurant, Tim notices Julie nervously checking back the way they came. Not only is she diligent in her observations but also jumps at the slightest noise. Something has rattled her today, and Tim hopes she will be able to recover.

Buddy has found another show on his screen and now is intently absorbing the content, Tim knows trying to get answers from Buddy right now would be a waiting game. However he knows exactly what Buddy will want and they quickly get their breakfast underway.
