A good luck charm anchors the spirit

How busy is your day? Ever stop, and take a step back, and look at the daily routine? If you’re like most people these days, you probably don’t have time to take a step back. That would be the best way to fall behind. Furthermore, staying on point, is more important now, than ever. Additionally, we have devices and apps to help manage time. With properly managed time, there’s more time, for more activity.

Maybe that’s why time passes so quickly sometimes. There’s just no time to take the time, to invest in deliberate reflection. One moment can barely be experienced before the next one must be planned and sorted into usable preparations for the next activity or task. And so it goes. Each day flies by, and at the end of the day, it’s a race to prepare for the next day. Right about there, is where some good luck, could make all the difference.

Now there’s a thought. Good luck. It always shows up unexpectedly. Never on schedule. However, it can turn things around in the blink of an eye. Having a bad day? Zap it with good luck, and that business is all turned around. Too bad luck isn’t an on-demand thing. It sure would be useful.

A Good Luck Charm

If a moment of good fortune is a positive way to turn a day around, then it must be good for the spirit. After all, it’s our spirit that motivates and propels our journey through any given day. Therefore, it’s never a bad idea to keep the spirit level at maximum. This is also easy, because hope is a sure way to fire the spirit up, and completely tune it in.

This is where a good luck charm comes into play. Furthermore, almost everyone has one. It may be easy to admit, or it might be a personal secret. However, a good luck charm anchors the spirit with hope. For example, driving during heavy traffic, or working long hours to get a promotion. If someone believes a particular necklace is a good luck charm, then having it along, is the hope factor. It’s the hope of a positive outcome. That’s the point of a good luck charm.

The effectiveness of the charm, is almost directly proportional, to the dread of not having the good luck charm. That’s the long way to say, losing it screws everything up. It isn’t so much the belief in an inanimate object, as it is a preferred state of mind. Like a smart phone or a tablet, the good luck charm is just the device. Likewise, the spirit is what powers the device.

Anchored Spirit

Maybe the path to a great day isn’t through a charm. Indeed, there’s always been more than one way to have a great day. However, there’s something about the luck angle. Sometimes a lucky charm becomes lucky because it saves a life. Maybe the good luck charm helped create a state of mind that prevented a financial catastrophe. That would certainly cause some feelings of endearment.

Furthermore, it puts more truth in that earlier statement about everyone having a good luck charm. If you’re like me, you have about twenty of them. In the car. There’s another ten in the kitchen. But no matter how many there are, they all have the same effect of anchoring the spirit in hope. And sometimes, what is hoped for, really does happen. Is it the good luck charm? Maybe. But it sure does seem like having hope in the first place, is the win. There’s no better luck magnet than a hopeful spirit. Thanks for reading.
