A Happy New Year look, and the days ahead

Happy New Year! That was not a shout, in case anyone with sensitive ears is reading this article, this morning. In fact, some light reading might be helpful. But not too much light. It might even help to dim the screen just a bump. If none of that helps after a couple of aspirin, then it might finally be time to quit drinking that tequila. Or Maker’s Mark whiskey.

Additionally, somewhere in the nighttime hours a year passed. Indeed, there has been no posts on this blog since last year. It’s funny how quickly anomalies can change things. It’s even funnier how quickly things can change anomalies.(Seen, or heard about, any drones lately?) Yet for all that, time itself, would race right on by if we didn’t mark it in some way.

With this in mind, the opportunity to mark it in a positive light, is priceless. For example, wishing everyone a happy New Year. We could just as easily say, ‘have a Regular New Year‘! Or the ever popular, ‘have a New Year’! However the entire thing just feels, off. Likewise, it’s about celebration, not abbreviation.

A Happy New Year Look

So it’s a new year. In fact, that is great news. There were parties, and gatherings with friends and family. With a few shots. And then the great count down to the final seconds of 2024. And a few more shots. Now the birds are chirping and singing (entirely too loud) and the sun is shining brightly. (way too bright) Welcome 2025!

Happy New Year

It’s not easy to start a new year without taking a look at the days ahead. Of course, hope, is the best filter to view them with. And maybe that is why celebrating the New Year is so important. It represents a fresh start. A chance to make things new. Especially after a few shots of tequila. And sometimes aspirin helps with that. As well as a strong cup of coffee.

However, the overall theme of a Happy New Year celebration, is about happiness. And that pursuit should be ongoing. In the days ahead, a New Year’s Day celebration, will be forgotten, as our daily cares gain more priority. Nevertheless the anticipation for the next Happy New Year celebration shouldn’t be underestimated.

Happy New Year and the Days Ahead

There were fireworks aplenty last night. They helped make the end of the old year exciting. And as the countdown reached the zero mark, the excitement for the days ahead could be felt as though tangibly experienced.

Similarly, there were many things about last year, that could easily be left back there. In yesteryear. Furthermore, it would add space, for the things in the days ahead. With this in mind, a happy and carefree celebration, was an excellent way to kick things off. If only there was no hair of the dog…who let those dogs out anyway? Thanks for reading today.
