A truth by omission became the first clue.
It started small. The big things usually do. It was also quiet. In fact, it was hard to get any real details. That’s where it began to feel wrong. Except, that’s the fast version. It went on for months and months. However, the longer it went the more obvious it became. After a while there just wasn’t enoughfall out to collaborate the spin. It started to unravel.
It was a month after the first year. And finally, there was enough empirical evidence to begin asking the hard questions. Only, it wasn’t the ones in charge asking the hard questions. It was the everyday survivor asking the questions. The common man. Furthermore, the questions were justified. The world was upside down. Everything was different. The imposed new normal was too long a part of everyday life. In fact, the new normal was so bad, there was hardly any everyday life.
It wasn’t just about inconvenience. It wasn’t an inconvenience to stay safe. Or to try and prevent things from getting worse. Which is what most everyone tried. Everyone wanted to be a part of the solution. Not the problem. Yet no one knew any better. Well, that’s not entirely accurate. There were many who knew better. However, censoring them was important. One way or another, depending on who they were, it was all about the censor.
A Truth By Omission
Although that might sound like a mob hit, it was only slightly better. The ones who knew better, could spread the truth. Therefore, censoring them meant preventing the truth from getting out. One way or another, they ceased. Which meant the truth came about by omission. Like errant youth, the more they broke the rules the more they ended up following the rules.
With this in mind, it didn’t take long for more people to catch on. Things just didn’t add up. And when things don’t add up it’s obvious in one way or another. Whether or not one is observant enough to see it, is a different matter. In any case there were more and more inconsistencies. Furthermore, the official channels refused to change their narrative. Regardless of the circumstances. The truth could be blatant and very obvious but there was no narrative to support it.
That’s how there came to be truth by omission. It was a part of the new normal. Or maybe it’s better to say it is the after effects of the new normal. Although the truth was there, it was absolutely taboo. At long last the narrative was the official story. Regardless of truth.
The First Clue
This is just the tip of the iceberg. Many things became obvious because that kind of cover up had never been done before. There was no way to plan for every contingency. Some things were done when needed. Other things were already well under way. Social avenues were transformed into channels of propaganda. Once trusted institutions were now used to monitor and report anomalies.
Anomalies that were simply acts of common sense. This had lasting repercussions. Some of which are still happening today. Furthermore, following the official narrative, was dangerous. However, many didn’t find out until after it was too late. This is how it began.Rumors at first. But there is seriously more to it than that. Things we experienced that no one talked about. Well, some talked about it.
They are gone now. It is more than coincidence. In fact, there is nothing about any of it that could ever be considered coincidence. It was surely planned. It was also just a distraction. The real story was happening behind the scenes.
