Butterbeans and the talking point

As he approaches Butterbeans, Alex is contending with a sense of displacement. He is approaching. That is what his eyes tell him. However, he feels very little in the way of gravity. He isn’t falling. Also he doesn’t feel a sense of peril. He is approaching Butterbeans, and she is not alone.

Butterbeans sees Alex now. She is happy he followed. However, she was also sure he would. This was too important not to try and protect. There is much Alex doesn’t know. Furthermore her new friend, will be a new thing for Alex. However, Butterbeans is sure it will be okay.

Her new friend was not from this world. Additionally, there was no alien invasion. Butterbeans had not understood this concept at first. The images her new friend had been communicating were unfamiliar to Butterbeans. However, she understands that her new friend, and her new friend’s family, are stuck here. They were stranded in this place a long time ago.

Butterbeans and the talking point

Alex is relieved that Butterbeans doesn’t appear stressed. Additionally she appears to be in good spirits. As she stands next to the unusual and odd being. Furthermore, they had seen some of these creatures when they had first encountered the damage in level 113. One had even grabbed Butterbeans and taken her to a nest.

They were humanoid in shape and constructed of light. It looked as though it was light. Furthermore it was light that changed and roiled, similar to roiling storm clouds. The one next to Butterbeans exuded a light that was brightly glowing, and infused with warm colors.

It is safe to say that Alex is feeling uneasy, as he approaches Butterbeans and her new friend. However, he can see that she is in good spirits and eager for him to arrive. He suspects she has found something important and equally amazing.

Butterbeans and the talking point

He lands next to Butterbeans. Then he is greeted with exuberance. Therefore, he responds in kind. He feels relieved that she is okay. She wags her tail eagerly and then rushes to the unusual and glowing being standing nearby. She turns to look at Alex, and then sits down beside her new friend.

Alex feels slightly bewildered and is trying to consider what he should do next. Similarly, they are now in a place that isn’t here or there. Alex is at a loss for how they will return. However, Butterbeans doesn’t seem to be concerned about much, except her new friend. Alex can’t help but smile about her kindhearted ways.

Talking point

With this in mind he feels startled when a voice sounds around them. Furthermore, he realizes he isn’t in Kansas anymore, because he can hear the voice in his head as it welcomes him. Alex can hear the urgency and worry in that voice however, and that unsettles him. In light of what just happened with the special agent, Alex was now sure there was much more happening here than anyone knew.

His friend is showing trust, and Alex decides to follow suit, as the strange and unlikely being speaks again.
