Butterbeans unabridged.

Once upon a time she had been scared of heights. When she had been a pup she had been fearful of many strange scents. Now she has found the strangest scent ever. Her person had not known of the danger. Even she had been unaware, at first.

She tries once again to warn them. Her friend listens well as he always has. The rest of their pack had been attacked, but had managed to survive. Butterbeans is grateful they are safe. Yet it now feels more unsafe than ever.

Butterbeans

It will return. This is its nest. She can sense it isn’t in this area for now. But it will return. This was it’s nest and they needed to leave. She tells them again, and with more energy this time! They must get moving!

The world is shaking again. What had been asleep in all their previous visits, is awake. Butterbeans had sensed it yesterday, but still hadn’t been sure of what she had found. Furthermore, she had thought her friends were aware. What had been the point of the happiness party that had occurred earlier?

Moreover she had thought it was a celebration of finding their objective. This, very old thing. She doubles back to check the other humans. Because they are waking now. Their scent is healing and waking. She is very grateful. She moves back to her person. Once again she tells him they need to go!

Unabridged

The solid shakes mightily again. Now there is more open space all around them. Her person’s scent changes to the beginnings of fear. He believes them to be trapped. So, she shows him the small path that is still on the side of the chasm. She tells him again! Furthermore, she knows he will see it. They have always been close since her first moments.

She feels a sense of relief when her person shouts to the others. They are awake, and now they all see the path! She is grateful. They must hurry. She tells them again. It will return. This is it’s nest.
