Get me another scary video please

Get me another scary video please

Just a short time ago we were worried about the last number. Not only did we discover it wasn’t countable at this time, but also it might be a while. Since then, lots of things have changed. For one thing we are older now. At age 6 the world of questions has become a world of quests.

Time has moved forward and so have the questions. It’s a strange world, with many possibilities. For example, videos. Videos don’t seem to create as many questions as they answer. However, they can be scary! Many of our video selections are from video games.

Lights are out, best nightmares is a video. I wasn’t sure at first. You see, I have to do the search. We know what videos we want to see. We even found that with a direct search, we can find many. Not only the video we would like to see, but also many variations and adaptations of the same.

Scary Video

We can say the videos we want to see, and search for them, and it works pretty well. I’m still the one with the search capability. We aren’t using a voice controlled device. We are using the human device to search for horror videos!

I am being old fashioned and somewhat salty about some of the videos. Next I ask if we are sure these are video game videos. We are sure. I check with my favorite tattletale Google to double check the intel I have been given. It is spot on, these are video games.

It wasn’t lost on me that some of them may be for older audiences. Some of the scary things were out of my age bracket. I felt like I had seen things meant for much older adults. The natural thought from this was that a conundrum was forming.

With this in mind, we started searching for more how to videos. Learning how to make a scary video game was actually very interesting. Searching our way along we began finding names of some very creative artists!

Learning

Turns out that was the search theme all along. Particular creators with particular styles. I admit that I was impressed at all this directed natural curiosity. Not to mention the creative way we arrived at our learning point. Now I know exactly what I will do the next time I hear, “Get me another scary video please”.
