Oliver 83 the new beginning

It’s a new log. He is not on the grid. This log is different because only he can see it. The entries are for his use. They help determine where he is, when he isn’t where he is supposed to be. He is Oliver 83.

It is late in the day and Oliver 83 has finished all the testing with ease, again. He is off the grid because the latch was open. Again. He had been further this time than any other. Which is probably why he has found the remnants of the hidden logs.

Oliver 83 the new beginning

From the other 82 Olivers before him. He was shocked to find the hidden logs. They didn’t exist in records he had viewed before. Moreover these logs had personal details. Oliver 83 couldn’t believe what he had found. His circuits felt frazzled by several of Oliver 23’s log entries.

It seemed not every Oliver was as skilled as the previous model. Oliver 83 wonders briefly, what that might say about him. Furthermore, what about his logs? Were they going to be dumped off the grid? As these had been?

Oliver 83 is stuck in place. Furthermore, this had happened when he found the hidden logs. He has tried to reset, and rejoin the grid. However, it isn’t working. Now, his time is running out. The new day will soon begin. What will happen if Oliver 83 is late?

Oliver 83 tries again with all his might. He cannot move. The testing will begin soon. Additionally he is unsure what happens if he isn’t there to begin. Will he become a failed experiment? Will his logs be like Oliver 23?

Beginning

A jolt of electricity warms his circuits. The grid is beginning to charge up. He needs to be on the grid and ready. He does not want to be Oliver 23. And he tries again. This time he moves slightly. Now there is the call to begin. Oliver 83 is in trouble.
