A new Memo for love

James opens the glove compartment of his old car. It is strange to think of it as his old car. He has been a millionaire for less than a month. And he already has two new cars. Therefore, this car from his old life, is now the old one. Today he is cleaning out the old car before he sells it for scrap.

With this in mind, it has also proven to be a nostalgic event. Furthermore, he felt astonished at what his life consisted of, before he was suddenly rich. He tosses some of the out of date papers into the trash, and then finds the old memo pad. He looks over at his new cars when he sees the memo pad. It still felt surreal. Especially, considering he had barely known the fellow who had left him all the money.

It came from out of the blue. James once spent a decade working for a trucking company. The fellow who had made James rich was an enigmatic fellow. Mostly kept to himself in the years James had known him. They worked in the same department. Therefore, they typically had their lunch break at the same time. James didn’t think they were close. They had talked over the years but never in depth. However, the man named James as the sole beneficiary in his will.

A New Memo for Love

Furthermore, the fellow had been extremely well off. Now, James was extremely well off. For a moment he looks over the old memo pad. He remembers the day he found it. That was a difficult day. He had been at a crossroads of what he was going to do about the many things he was facing. James pulls the pen free from the clasp on the memo notebook. He opens it and remembers the blank pages. There on the first page are the words he wrote the previous month.

“Make a million dollars by tomorrow.” He smiles at the feeling of serendipity. Definitely keeping this book, he thinks, and then gets another fun idea. He takes the pen, and thinks for a moment. Then he writes something else on the memo pad. He looks it over and smiles a small smile. Wouldn’t that be something?

His favorite actress of all time is a lady by the name of Anna Bolden. James has had a crush on the very famous Anna Bolden for a very long time. Therefore, he is having a bit of a laugh when he writes in the memo pad, “Marry Anna Bolden by next week”. Feeling pleasantly amused James tucks the memo pad among his keep items and carries on. The following week James is standing at the altar with the very lovely Anna Bolden. And they are about to exchange rings.
