A new state of mind – Health and Wellness
It begins in the mind. This is where the essence of a good start resides. It is a state of mind. It’s more than a thought. Or a passing thought. A state of mind is nothing, if not consistent and constant. Therefore changing the mind is as simple as understanding the current condition of the mind. “Know thyself“, is a saying that comes to mind.
With this in mind, if the goal is to gain a certain state of mind, it will likely require effort. It is about changing the current state of mind. This is easier said than done in some cases. Especially if the state of mind is something intense like anger or frustration. In fact, a traffic jam is a good example. It takes patience to navigate a traffic jam.
Patience can lead to another type of situation. A more peaceful disposition. In fact with all the new discoveries, particularly those about brain composition and function, there is more good news daily. For example, a smile can create a mood boost regardless of how a person feels. Just putting a smile on the face is all it takes. It tricks the brain into thinking about being happy. There is a smile therefore there must be a reason for it.
A New State of Mind
This is only a brief look at some of the benefits of a new state of mind. Furthermore, there are many schools of thought along these lines. This article’s purpose is to be a prologue or an introduction. It may need additional work down the road.
One thing is certain, changing a mindset is not as hard as it might sound. Likewise, with focus and the deliberate pursuit of a calm mind, a better mindset is easily achieved.
