Nacho Typical Fiesta

This article will not be about the marinated chicken. That isn’t a bad thing, because the chicken is still on the menu. The chicken will be an exceptional dinner! There is even a plot twist in the recipe. The chicken is also being marinated. It’s a time consuming process.

In the meantime, a quick and economical lunch is on the menu. There are times when it is possible to take separate pieces and put them together to form something better. (This is great for the budget when planned.)

Other times, when it’s about finding something a discerning 6 year old will actually eat, the basics are always best. After scrounging through the odds and ends available for lunch, we decided on basic nachos.

Nacho typical

These are nacho typical nachos! Additionally we did get some good laughs out of the play on words! However we were seriously hungry, and not interested in why it was a long time before the chicken was married.

So we found a great Nacho lunch idea that costs under ten bucks to prepare, and will feed two! Furthermore it takes mere minutes to prepare and will definitely fill the lunch gap!

This is nacho typical fiesta nachos! They can be very basic and also combined with other tasty ingredients. Have some extra jalapenos? Add them in, have some diced onions or want to add some freshly diced tomato? Sounds delicious!

Starting with a few base ingredients is all that’s needed. One can of chili, the basic standard chili will do. It can be the budget brand, this is nacho typical fiesta! We were having lots of fun, making jokes that were, nacho jokes! 🤣

Along with the chili is one package of shredded cheddar cheese. Then the star of the nachos, nacho cheese Doritos. We did not put the package of Doritos in the pic of this article. Because we were eating them. However, we spared some of the extra cheesy ones for the pic!

Now for the easy preparation. Heat the chili. Put cheese on the Doritos and cover with hot chili! Talk about quick meals! We were chowing down in no time! Because waiting for chicken to get married can make someone feel very hungry while they wait!

Nachos

This version of a very basic nacho can be made for under ten dollars depending on where ingredients are purchased. There is nutrition and ease of prep in this economical quick meal. All of which means this is nacho typical fiesta! Thanks for reading today!
