The health and wellness test
Health and wellness is a worthy pursuit. The earlier one starts the pursuit of health and wellness, the better. One of the biggest draws to being healthy is all the health.
That almost sounds easy, maybe it is. One thing is certain, health and wellness isn’t always easy. It’s not even easy to write about it, and it’s one half of what this website is about. The topic of health is often reserved for the not so young.
Wellness Test
George Bernard Shaw once said youth is wasted on the young. I think Mr. Shaw was likely on to something. It’s very easy to postpone health and wellness habits, when we’re young. It’s never too late to start though, and that is the thought behind this article.
From walking to stair climbing, and even jumping rope, physical activity is the essence of health and wellness. Between daily commutes and desk jobs and finally, the couch after a long day, physical activity is slim and mostly involves sitting. Health and wellness is taking a back seat.
With this in mind, and with all the excellent resources available, it should be easy to improve some health and wellness. We can even break it down into parts. Start small. For example, increasing physical activity. Not only increasing it once, but also consistently.
Health
If jumping jacks are an exercise that gets the heart rate up for a good few minutes, great! They can be done every morning, or every other morning. As long as there is consistency, there is the beginning of the health and wellness test.
With this in mind, consistency matters, in relation to health and wellness. That includes consistent articles on health and wellness blogs. Something that will get consistently better in this blog. The health and wellness test, is a goal to get started. Movement that is consistent.
