What do vitamins taste like?
It was a good afternoon. It was a sunny day, with lots of adventure and energetic exercise. (Scooters and bikes) The afternoon was perfect for outdoor activity. Of course we developed an appetite and eventually came in for a snack.
There were a few healthy options for our snack, which was actually lunch. While the lunch options were being prepared, it was a good time to take the daily multi-vitamin. It is supposedly best taken with food. Or just before eating.
What do Vitamins Taste Like?
There was close observation, as I took the multi vitamin! The little one studied closely, the fact that this wasn’t being offered to him. This meant the curiosity index was overflowing and the questions began. Once he had an idea that it was a vitamin, the next question was a natural reach, in my opinion.
What do vitamins taste like?
If the Flintstones edible vitamins come to mind, the same happened for me. However, describing one of those strange tart tasting vitamins, was not going to be easy. Actually I got the sense he was looking for more than the description. For example, if something is important enough to remember taking, it must have a compelling taste.
Here we were at the crux of something important. Vitamins are very important and are a valuable part of any healthy eating plan. However, a six year old is more likely to think about vitamins if they actually taste good. The multi vitamin I had taken was no Flinstone vitamin. Furthermore it didn’t have a memorable taste.
With this in mind, I thought about where vitamins are when they are not in pill form. We had bananas, so we started there. He was happy to learn that vitamins were in bananas. We had an extra one for extra vitamins. Then we decided to add some tomato slices to our sandwiches.
It was another thrilling discovery that tomatoes had vitamins too. This called for extra slices of tomato! It seemed we had a theme going at that point. Learning about vitamins was turning into a sweet deal!
Vitamins
Indeed it was time for a glass of milk to wash down a great lunch! The discovery that the milk was full of vitamins too, was outstanding! Furthermore, we were getting a really good idea what vitamins taste like!
After that good lunch with all those vitamins, we got back out in the sunshine! It was time to put the scooters and the bikes to work! There is a vitamin in sunshine too! This was profound news for the little one and spurred many more questions! Some of which will have to be in the next story. Thanks for reading today.
