Finding the best hydration drink to beat the heat
The best example of hydration is consciousness on a hot day. If it’s hot, and there’s sweat, it might be time to hydrate. This is old news to many adults and those who went through last summer. There’s always an advertisement somewhere advising everyone to stay hydrated. Furthermore, most people benefit from the reminders.
In fact, it’s easy to get overheated in extreme heat. Sometimes it happens and there’s no warning. Furthermore little things matter. Such as shade or a steady breeze. When those little things are not happening, in the extreme heat, it’s a good bet the dehydration is. Therefore finding the best hydration drink is important.
So what is the best hydration drink anyway? Is there anything better than good reliable water? Drop into any convenience store, with a row of coolers, and there are numerous brands and styles of hydration drinks for sale. Each with its own labeling and packaging that promotes its benefits. This article does not promote any particle brand, or type of drink. Similarly, any type of hydrating drink discussed in this article, is the personal opinion of the author.
Finding the Best Hydration Drink
A quick Google search will yield many results about the benefits of water as a hydration drink. Additionally, water is one of the top choices of athletes and people working outdoors on a regular basis. For example, construction workers. In fact, some construction workers use a combination of fluids to stay hydrated. Furthermore, it begins long before the day gets hot.

In the height of the summer season consistent outdoor exposure is common for construction workers. Likewise there are more than a few other professions that require exposure to the great outdoors. Most everyone working these jobs has an idea about the best hydration drink, and when to drink it.
Chocolate milk doesn’t sound like a typical drink for hydration. However, it is actually very effective in hydrating the body. Furthermore, it has protein, which is a substantial boost in nutrition. This is helpful for counteracting the effects of extreme heat exposure. Not only is chocolate milk a little known candidate for the best hydration drink, but also I can recommend it from experience.
It’s the Heat That Dehydrates
It really is the heat. Too much of it can quickly deplete the body’s fluids. This happens with sunshine or no sunshine. One of the top danger signs is when it is still scorching hot but the body is no longer sweating. In fact, it may seem like all the moisture of the body has dried up. Like it’s so dry, farting dust is entirely possible. This is not a good sign.
With this in mind, preparation for a day in the heat, is one of the best preventative methods for dealing with the heat. A lot of this is preparing the night before. For example, drinking ample amounts of water. Similarly things like milk, and chocolate milk, are excellent for refueling and replenishing the body’s fluids. Also try a little pickle juice early in the evening. That’s right. Pickle juice.
Pickle juice may not be the best hydration drink available, but it has its benefits. The additional salt, or the brine, is good for helping to retain the fluid needed to replenish the fluid lost through sweating. This was an old country wisdom handed down from the elders. It worked too. Furthermore, with consistent use it became easier and easier, to stay hydrated, in the heat. These are a few personal examples from a former construction worker. Different folks have different ways of dealing with excessive heat.
